Just when everything was REALLY clicking, I went to another doctor (what is it with Doctors lately?) and was told I have to quit chewing tobacco (I would go into detail as to why... but, it's all boring). Yes, yes, I know it's gross :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, it's one thing to watch what you eat, its another all together to try and kick another habit while eating right. YIKES!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I &lt;em&gt;might&lt;/em&gt; be just a little grumpy. This has not been confirmed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I'm down to 247. One pound lighter. That was 2 of those new fresca burritos at Taco bell. Man, that was so good. The most fat I've had at one sitting (9 grams) in a week! I'm very happy :-) I have to do a 10 mile run tomorrow so I did want some extra nutrition in me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've had some difficulty with fatigue this week. I need to find the right balance of food and exercise. Otherwise, I'm going to fight headaches and won't have to energy to do ANYTHING let alone getting up at 3:45 and doing the show.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had an email asking me if I'm taking any supplements. Not really. I'm taking some fish oil pills (as directed from the doctor) and I'm doing some acai berry detox for 2 weeks. I'm not sure why I'm craving wings, but I am. Sometimes just talking about food makes me dream a little dream about their yummy goodness&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today has been one of the harder days so far. I've only been watching my intake since Saturday, January 16th and I must say, it's been fairly easy thus far... until today&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having said that, it could be because I've been up since 3:45am (it's 10:30 now) and have only consumed about 500 calories.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I ran 4 miles yesterday and awakened with a monster hunger. The 1/4 bowl of granola cerial just didn't cut it&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm having a difficult time staying away from the scale daily. I know I should limit myself to once a week, but it is very tough. In full glory. I'm not sucking in the gut, not looking down to minimize the double chin and not smiling. Not a pretty picture, is it?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In short, I'm tired of being this way.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Maybe you're like me. I was the "fat kid" in elementary school and I swear, the names I was called still haunt me. In high school, I was an athlete but bever felt like one. I always felt like the "fat kid." Well, no more. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I hit the big 40 on June 15th this year. Now, I know I'm not going to be at my goal weight by then (should have stared sooner), but I certainly can make a huge dent in the progress. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I have been wanting to do this for a long time. However, my eye opener was when my Doctor told me I needed to lose weight or I was going to run into some health problems. Enough said, Doc! I'm on board!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I'm training for a marathon on Memorial weekend.
